Hope you are all enjoying the sunshine and haven’t missed swim club too
much! As you all know club has started back again…… and in this
newsletter we not only let you know recent news but also our swimmers
latest achievements…..

National Teaching Plan - consultation

We are looking at introducing the British Swimming and ASA National
Teaching Plan this autumn. This will particularly affect the younger
groups giving them different levels to achieve and it will make it
easier to chart their progress. It will also mean that each group will
have a lead coach who parents will be able to talk to regarding their
child’s training. The club will be looking at stages 8-10 competitive
swimming and will expect new club members to have reached at least level
7. There will be some consultation as part of this transition to the
Teaching Plan and swimmers and parents will be asked what they want out
of their training with the club. For more information on the plan look
at follow the link to :

If that doesn’t work go to google ASA National Swimming Plan.
